About and Contact

I am a historian based in North East England, with particular expertise in environmental history, the history of childhoods, contemporary british history, oral history, and participatory methods. I also have strong interests in public history, transport and urban planning, and sustainability.

I studied my undergraduate degree at Newcastle University (2017-2019), a masters at the University of Bristol (2019-2020), and recieved funding from Northern Bridge for my doctorate at the University of Northumbria (2021-2025).

I have worked as researcher and administrator for the Northumberland Wildlife Trust, Throckley Primary School, and the Negotiating Childhood Around the Pacific Rim project.

Hobbies include music, sewing, tabletop games, gardening, and many other outdoorsy activities.
